Fraud and clone company warning

We take every report and suspicion of fraudulent activity seriously. At times we identify companies using our name or similar names without authorization. This can create confusion and spread incorrect information about our company and its services. This page explains how to spot them and what to do if you think you have found one.

Golden rule

The only official Groman Pro address is groman-pro.org and the only support email is [email protected]. We never ask for passwords, verification codes or payments to personal accounts. When in doubt, write to the official email before taking a single step.

Why we publish this warning

Impersonation fraud works like this: a person or group creates sites, social media profiles or messaging accounts that imitate a legitimate company, with similar logos and copied text. Behind that facade they try to make victims hand over identity documents, "activation" deposits or access to their bank accounts. With financial companies the damage is not only monetary: it also stains the impersonated company's name and confuses users who were doing serious research.

We publish this warning for three reasons. First, prevention: telling you how scammers operate lowers the chance you fall into the trap. Second, clarity of responsibility: if someone runs a fraud using our name, we want you to know it is not us and that we have no control over those sites. Third, a reporting channel: the sooner you tell us about a cloned site, the sooner we can report it and warn others.

Clone companies

A clone company copies the name, logo or general look of a real company to appear legitimate. If you suspect you are dealing with a clone using our brand, our name or our logo, do not share any personal information and notify us immediately at [email protected], including the site address, profile or phone number they used to approach you.

We work constantly to identify clone companies, but some may remain unidentified for a time. Users should always verify the legitimacy of the companies they interact with online before sharing personal data or starting any business relationship.

Typical signs of a scam

  • Pressure and urgency: "last spot", "bonus expires today", "I will close your registration in an hour". Serious platforms do not chase anyone.
  • Promises of results: fixed profits or assured returns do not exist in financial markets.
  • Odd contact channels: they write first via social media, messaging apps or WhatsApp with "personal advisors" you cannot trace.
  • Unusual payment forms: deposits to personal accounts, cash, gift cards or digital assets sent to third-party wallets.
  • Suspicious domains and emails: addresses similar to the official one but with changed letters, hyphens or country domains unrelated to the company.

What Groman Pro never does

We never request passwords or verification codes through any channel. We never ask for "activation", "fund release" or upfront "tax" payments: the only movements are your deposits into your own trading account. We do not guarantee investment results: trading involves risk of loss. We do not contact you through unverified social profiles or pressure you with promotions that "expire" within minutes.

If you already shared data or money

Act fast: immediately change the passwords of your email and bank accounts from a trusted device; notify your bank of the operation to try to stop the payment; file a report with your country's competent authority (in Canada, the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre; in Mexico, the cybercrime unit of the Fiscalía); and write to us at [email protected] describing what happened, so we can block any reference to your identity in our systems and add evidence to our reports. We are aware of cases of misuse of our name and of personal data for fraudulent purposes, over which we have no influence or control. While we deeply regret the losses suffered by those who have faced them, the company is not responsible for fraudulent operations carried out in our name.
