Risk disclosure
Trading cryptocurrencies, currencies, gold and stocks involves real risks, including the total loss of your invested capital. This page explains them one by one, without sugar-coating, so you can decide with complete information. Read it in full before opening your account: it is the most important part of the entire site.
General warning
Past performance does not guarantee future results. No strategy, automated or manual, removes the risk of loss. Invest only money whose loss you can absorb without compromising your personal or family finances.
1. Introduction and general warning
Groman Pro is an automated-trading technology platform. The system analyzes markets and executes operations according to the strategies each user activates. That automation adds discipline and analytical speed, not certainty: financial markets are uncertain by nature and no model can promise profits.
The purpose of this disclosure is for you to know the specific risks of trading digital and financial assets with automated tools. Nothing in this document is investment advice.
2. Market risk and volatility
The main risk is prices moving against you. Crypto assets are especially volatile: double-digit percentage moves in a single day are common, and sharp drops can erase weeks of progress in hours. Currencies and stocks also fluctuate with central bank decisions, corporate results and geopolitical events.
Practical advice: set, from the start, the maximum loss you are willing to tolerate per strategy and in total. The platform lets you configure those limits; use them and respect them. A loss limit caps the damage, it does not remove it: in fast-moving markets the fill may land near, not exactly on, the set level.
3. Liquidity risk
Liquidity is how easily a position can be closed near the expected price. In low-volume assets or moments, an order may fill worse than the price on screen: that difference is slippage. At the extreme, there may not be enough counterpart to close a position at the desired price.
Slippage worsens exactly when it hurts most: during violent market moves. Working with the most liquid assets (as the platform tracks) reduces the frequency of the phenomenon but does not promise it away.
4. Integration and access-key risks
The platform connects to exchanges through access keys. A misconfiguration, a key stored insecurely or an interrupted exchange link can stop a strategy at a critical moment, leave positions unmanaged or expose your account if third parties obtain your keys.
Practical advice: generate keys with the minimum permissions needed, never share access secrets with anyone (including anyone claiming to be Groman Pro staff), enable withdrawal restrictions where the feature allows and review active connections in your dashboard regularly.
5. Counterparty and custody risk
To operate, funds and assets live with third parties: exchanges, payment processors and infrastructure providers. If one of them faces solvency problems, hacks, freezes or regulatory changes, your ability to trade or withdraw may be affected regardless of market behaviour.
The platform works with recognized exchanges and monitors their status, but no third party is risk-free. Keeping only your operating capital on the platform and withdrawing balances you are not using are prudent decisions you can discuss with your manager.
6. Operational and technical risks
Like any computing system, the platform depends on software, servers and network connections. Code errors, infrastructure failures, internet outages on your side or the data provider's can interrupt service exactly when the market moves.
We maintain redundancy and continuous monitoring to reduce these episodes and communicate relevant outages through the usual channels. Even so, zero technical risk does not exist: always consider the possibility that an order is not executed on time for reasons beyond the analysis.
7. Cybersecurity and phishing
Digital fraud is a constant threat in the financial ecosystem: emails and sites impersonating legitimate companies to steal passwords, verification codes or IDs. With those credentials an attacker can empty an account in minutes, and digital asset transactions are usually irreversible.
Practical advice: always type the site address yourself, enable two-factor authentication, distrust messages pressuring you with urgency and check the fraud warning if something feels off. Groman Pro never asks for passwords or verification codes by phone, chat or email.
8. Model and automation limitations
Analysis models learn from historical data. When the market behaves in unprecedented ways (sudden regulatory changes, liquidity crises, extreme events), past patterns lose value and the system may generate incorrect signals. Automation also amplifies mistakes: a badly configured rule is applied with more discipline than an emotional decision.
Volatility controls can pause strategies in extreme conditions, but they are mitigations, not guarantees. Practical advice: start with small amounts, test each strategy in the simulator and adjust parameters with your manager instead of improvising under stress.
9. Service availability
The platform stays active continuously, but scheduled maintenance, external provider failures and security incidents can leave the service fully or partly unavailable for limited periods. During an outage you might be unable to pause a strategy, change limits or request a withdrawal until service is restored.
We publish maintenance notices in advance when possible and work to keep outages short. Design your trading assuming there can be windows without access.
10. Before you start
Four habits separate an informed user from an exposed one. First, understand the strategy you activate: what it does, in which markets and with which limits. Second, set your maximum tolerated loss before depositing. Third, protect your account: two-factor authentication on, access keys under your sole control. Fourth, supervise: review reports and operation history as often as your activity level requires.
If anything on this page is unclear after reading, ask your manager or write to [email protected]. And if your financial situation cannot absorb losses, the honest recommendation is not to trade: markets do not spare money that cannot be risked.
